Holidays to Tenerife are the type of trips that you’ll remember for the rest of your life, rather than a quick disposable holiday that you might find on other islands. Tenerife offers affordable resort accommodation but it also offers a very unique landscape and an experience that you won’t find anywhere else. The island itself is situated just off the west coast of Africa and has a climate to match the continent.
Its location gives it year round sunshine and some great weather that’s just about guaranteed through the summer months but stays warm even in winter when England is not the most pleasant place to be. What’s more, its location is perfect for family holidays thanks to it being only four hours away from the UK by plane.
Tenerife offers some of the best choice of all the Canary Islands in terms of pure entertainment and a party attitude that while quieter than other islands can still offer up clubbers some great parties without having to spend a small fortune in drinks and entrance fees. The liveliest resorts on the island have a huge host of big clubs, small bars and world class restaurants all of which can make holidays to Tenerife great for younger people and clubbers.
Of course, that doesn’t mean that holidays to Tenerife can be enjoyed only by party goers. The island is just as good for a family holiday thanks to the close proximity to the UK, great weather and brilliant beaches. The resort of Playa de las Americas is standout resort for UK holiday makers with a range of international food, watersports and a beautiful promenade which offers some of the best views on the entire island.
Away from the beaches views like the amazing Mount Teide can be enjoyed but just about any type of holiday goer and trips to the islands many attractions such as the Loro Parque animal park will keep the kids happy and entertain adults in equal measure. The best time to book holidays to Tenerife is between May-September if you want a pure beach holiday, and any time after the summer season if you’re after anything else!
