There’s one time of the year that is celebrated by just about every country and crosses a number of the world’s largest religions to be something that’s truly considered an ‘international’ holiday. New Years Eve is one of the best times to get away, and with a variety of cheap New Year holidays available online, you can get away for an end of year celebration that you won’t quickly forget. Because of the amount of people trying to get away at this time of year, its unlikely – although not impossible – to get a last minute deal.

You have pretty much the whole world to choose from, although parties can vary from millions of people to small, intimate locations. One of the biggest parties in the world is the famous Time Square celebration in New York City which has been a traditional part of the city for over 100 years. Of course, going on cheap New Year holidays to New York means quite a bit more preparation – booking at least six months in advance is advised and when the big day finally comes make sure you arrive at Time Square early. People generally start to arrive at around 3pm!
If you’re looking for something a bit more intimate, the gathering at Ko Phanagn in Thailand is a million miles away from what you’ll see at New York, and what it lacks in numbers it makes up for in the pure quality of experience as thousands of young people and backpackers from all over the world congregate on Haat Rin beach to ring in the new year. As far as cheap New Year holidays go, it’s one of the most unique experiences you’ll likely to ever have.
